Making zombies die out faster

Making a pretty large map in which you teleport to the different sections. So the zombies take forever to get to you after teleporting to a new area. I know there is a way to make them die out faster and respawn but I can't find it anywhere for the life of me.

Appreciate the suggestion, I was already using teleporters though. The zombies were still way too slow getting to the new locations so I was also wanting to implement the faster die out time.
