Since as usual Treyarch provide half-assed shit to us, the community (RDV and Me) have gone ahead and rebuilt the proper sound alias for most of the features in a standard zombie map. Here is the working alias file (Make a new file at share\raw\sound\aliases\zombie_aliases.csv):

Once you have your alias file setup you need to actually rip the sounds with Wraith (http://aviacreations.com/wraith). The files go in sound_assets\zombie Launch Wraith and open up a SABS/SABL file to find the audio files listed in the above alias and copy the files to the same directory you see. When you build your mod the included sounds will now properly play. Now go to your usermaps\zm_yourmapname\sound\zoneconfig Open zm_yourmapname.szc and it probably looks like this:

I've looked through all of the .sabs and .sabl files relating to zombies and couldn't find any of the perk jingles or anything within the sound alias file you made. Could you tell me what file you looked in to find it?

I did exactly everything you wrote, but i still dont have sounds when i buy a perk.

Am i missing something here? help..

I found all of the jingles under "zm_factory.all.SABS"

I tried searching for that file and don't have it. I believe it's because I don't have The Giant. I remember it was called factory back in WaW, and I presume it would still be the same.

I've found all the files except for lid_close.wav, lid_open.wav, music_box.wav, burp.wav and bum.wav. I've searched all of the zombie sabs/sabl and can't find them. Any ideas?
